Frequently Asked Questions

  • Cancellation Policy: If you must cancel, please do so 4 weeks in advance of your first rental date. See full cancelation policy.
  • Service area: We provide delivery and setup at campgrounds within 30 miles of Indian River, Michigan. This includes a large service area from Lake Huron to Lake Michigan in the northern Lower Peninsula of Michigan. Please contact us if you are not sure the campground you have in mind falls within our service area. (The starred campgrounds on the map are a few of our favorites!)
  • Non-Smoking: Our trailers are non-smoking. Please step outside the camper to smoke!
  • Minimum Number of Days: There is a three (3) night minimum for RV rentals.

  • Optional Insurance: You are responsible for non-vehicle related accidents (since you won't be transporting). The most likely problem will be the awning. Insurance is optional. $49 for 6 days or less. $79 for one week or more. The deductible per incident is $100.
  • Damage deposit: The $500 damage deposit is mandatory. It is due 4 weeks prior to vacation (or upon booking if booked less than 4 weeks prior).
  • Can I move or reposition a rented trailer?: No. Our insurance does not allow renters to move trailers. In some cases, this means that water and sewage must be managed accordingly (short stays with just a couple people won't be a concern).
    • Options for longer stays or more people include:
      1. Full service dump and fill (an additional charge)
      2. Do-it-yourself dump and fill (we provide the fill hose and blue dump tank) or
      3. Water conservation (via the campground shower house).
  • Towels and bedding: Not provided at this time. We hope to offer this service in the future, so if you are in need, please check with us.
  • Clean up? Please remove all trash and personal belongings (including food from the refrigerator). All trailers have a broom, dustpan and cleaning supplies. Please leave the camper as you found it, clean and shiny!
  • What should you bring? Bring typical camping items like: bedding, towels, food, drinks, napkins, sunscreen, and first aid supplies. Remember to bring cookware and any dishes you might need.
  • We love pets! Well behaved pets are welcome. Please don't leave a pet in a camper alone, when it is hot, etc. In fact, as long as the trailer is returned as clean as you received it, you won't incur any additional charges for taking your furry friend along! Click here to see our Pet Policy.
